In Person Worship Services Temporarily Suspended Again Until Further Notice: Join us with Zoom!

Published November 4, 2020 by bumcri in Uncategorized

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

As people of God we are called to a higher standard.  In times like these it is especially important for the church to model Christlike behavior and lead by example. Pastor Michael Williams has whole heartily agreed with the Safe Sanctuary (Marilyn Sykulski, Chair) and Worship (Sue Dussault-Eddins, Chair) to suspend in person worship services at BUMC until further notice regarding COVID-19 from our local government.  In the interim, Luther Blount (Online Worship Technology Leader), Andrew Wynsen (Music Director) and Pastor Michael Williams will continue to meet on Saturdays (as needed) and on Sunday mornings to conduct worship in the sanctuary.  (This is subject to change depending on personal comfort level.)

We would like to thank those who continue to worship with us, and we are excited to welcome newcomers from all over the world to our family of faith.  Please continue to provide feedback on services and online gatherings as we constantly seek to improve our technology and sound quality.  We also look forward to hearing your thoughts on how we can bring God’s message of love, mercy, and grace into the greater community through mission and outreach during this unprecedented time.

God Bless,

Regina Blount

Church Administrator, Barrington UMC
